What a summer! It has given me the possibility of recharge, of finding myself again, and understanding my path. Somedays it has been super hard to face the loneliness and hear my inner voice under all my thoughts, but when I pass those moments I find myself and I find such creative force inside me, that I even surprise myself. I still have another month of vacation, and I’m so happy that I took this time to really recharge and start again.
Here are some of my favorite things this month, and no worries, these are tighter than my usual existential posts:
After 6 years of using my nespresso machine wrong, I finally learnt how to make iced coffee, and this is truly life changing for Miami. As a constant coffee drinker, I can’t tell you how much I’m grateful for a really cold coffee in the afternoons!
Another life changing moment this month was the landing of the book by Dr. Edith Eva Egver into my lap. WOW! I cried, I laughed, I cried more, and then i learnt some big lessons…. This book about holocaust survivor turned psychologist (and I can tell you that I’m really minimizing her experience by describing her only as a survivor and psychologist, but I don’t want to give away even a little tiny detail) carries so much learning, and its so beautifully written, that it won’t feel like a self-help book. I can’t put it down and re-read through it multiple times!
Lastly, my favorite things paired with favorite pieces from our store, all of these ethically made, or eco friendly, but if I have to pick one, I would go with the cocoon skirt. Ive been wearing it every day. It’s so comfortable and fresh, simply perfect for the summer months.
